Serov Academy of Fine Arts held a results announcement and awards ceremony on Saturday afternoon at its Green Square Campus, marking the conclusion of its mid-term and annual examinations. The event also published results for students from the academy’s Dhanmondi-based Russian House in Dhaka campus alongside those from Green Square.
The campus turned festive as young students arrived with sketchboards and art supplies, while parents gathered to witness the announcements. Contrary to the formal nature of a results publication, the programme unfolded in an upbeat and celebratory atmosphere, with applause accompanying each call of names.
Following the announcement, students received certificates and special awards. Organisers said a key feature of the event was that every participant was given a special prize, recognising consistency and sustained effort in artistic practice.
Top-performing students were additionally honoured with medals, presented as a mark of distinction. Parents and guardians were seen taking photographs and recording videos as children collected their awards.
In a brief closing address, the academy’s Director congratulated the students and said art education goes beyond manual skill, helping develop discipline, sensitivity, and human values.
The ceremony ended on a warm note, leaving behind a lively campus filled with the sounds of children’s footsteps, conversations, and continuing celebrations.
With maternal care, teachers guide children through hands-on drawing, coloring, and creative learning. Serov Academy offers a neat, well-organized, and pleasant environment. Its clean, child-friendly classrooms nurture both creativity and confidence, making art education joyful, safe, and inspiring for young learners.
